STEAMTec Club Leadership: Jettix helps support student leadership groups starting with the STEAMTec club at Berkeley High School in Berkeley, California.
Internships
We are working with partners in the private and public sectors to offer Internships for High School and College students. We are targeting a wide range of internships especially in the STEAM industries. We currently have interns working as Digital Media, Digital Design & Video, Product Marketing & Social Media associates. Our internship program includes mentoring and training in business and marketing skills.
STEMSPORT SERIES
In order to engage underserved populations we believe a unique approach is to offer them exposure to STEAM education and occupations at the places in their communities where they are most comfortable. Therefore we are developing unique STEAM Sports programs blending sports instruction with exposure to STEAM opportunities.
We plan to expand these STEAM Sports camps to include other sports like soccer, football, baseball working with professional and collegiate athletes. Exposing kids to STEAM through sports in their local communities is a unique and effective way to reach these youth. We are looking to work with other organizations who support these youth and offer them our unique STEAM training approach.
EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS
: We are developing programs to include career skills development for groups like Esports gamers, Robotic enthusiasts, Lego Engineering and other activities that absorb a lot of student’s time. We plan to work with national organizations to promote the positive attributes in new Esports to funnel them into exciting career paths. We continually explore creative ideas to engage these kids and provide role models whom they can relate to.
